From The Ranch-"As Good As Advertised"
Eatman, Nick-

"Even head coach Dave Campo, who is always reluctant to single out, especially in practices in June, has noticed No. 97 being a disruptive force in these first three quaterback schools."

Dava Campo siad, "I tell you one thing, I know La'Roi Glover is in the Backfield a whole lot. It's hard to tell without pads on with the guys on the line. But just by first glance, its hard not to notice the things he is doing."

Valentine Espiricueta says, "To the Dallas Cowboys organization: owner, coaches, players and staff can not duplicate the results that I have acomplished with this training system. Glover has three years experience and Ellis a beginner; both players step on the feild to showcase what my system was designed for."

Training
System Overview:
*Field Awareness
*Position and the Opponent
*Field Tactics
*Action Patterns
*Contact-Focus
*Source of Force
*Physical Conditioning

Each area is studied and taught under strict supervision. Both offensive/defensive players will see direct benefits of understanding the power and theory of the martial arts and the use of them associated with football. Also, special private lessons and assembly presentations can be provided in practical defensive martial arts.

Applied Sports Martial Arts has been tested and proven in the NFL and College levels. Such NFL teams as: Dallas Cowboys, New Orlean Saints, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, and Miami Dolphins; have utilized the Applied Sports Martial Arts concept with outstanding results.

Primary Focus of the system

1. To create a specialist of the player by making him feel more natural in his position, offensive/defensive.
2. To enhance defensive/offensive hand skills.
3. To learn the "what if" factor.
4. Controlling your opponent.
5. Learn counter-for-counter containment skills.
6. Learn close-quarter contact sparring skills.

This is an ultimately unique program. NFL teams are striving for excellence, finding new ways to optimize human performance. This program emphasizes all facets of athletic ability.

The Cowboys's recruiting efforst inked free-agent DT
LA' ROI GLOVER, who in his past two years Pro Bowl
season's in New Orleans had more Sack by himself (25)
than the Cowboys did as a team in 2001.

A big Deal 11 since two of the biggest defensive measuring
sticks indicated the Cowboys had 24 Sack, good for 30th in the NFL.

System
The primary focus of the system is to make each player, offensive or defensive, a specialist in his position by developing skills that offer natural ease. These skills include: offensive hand techniques, counter-for-counter, "what if" factor and controlling the opponent.

Concept
In today's ever changing game of football, coaches and players are searching for the "winning edge." One area that is a prime target is the combination of power, strength and physical training with hand-eye-total body cordination, flexibility, and balance through the martial arts.

Applied Sports Martial Arts has translated a lifetime of martial arts training and football wisdom into user friendly, practical form. The core training involves three minute rounds of physical contact drills with a one minute rest. Skills learned in these rounds can be applied immediately by a pro athlete with no prior martial arts experience.

Benefits
Through a process of drilling and muscle repetition, players develop the ability to anticipate movements by other players, react faster and counter the hits made by their opponents. The player becomes both physically and mentally aware of the space around him, giving him an uncanny sixth sense and a true edge in the competitive arena. Applied Sports Martial Arts is a hands-on scientific process.

Applied Sports Martial Arts is uniquely developed; advanced program specialized for cross-training, with life-long applications due to the use of more mind/body potential than has ever been attempted. The attributes that go well beyond mastery of the physical aspects of the game apply the mental attitudes that are learned in martial arts and football. A marginal player becomes transformed. These techniques are used daily by some of the most prominent professional teams and players in football today.
